Seb Dalgarno



Seb Dalgarno M.Sc., is a computational biologist with special expertise in GIS, database management and data visualization.


Seb has a degree in Forest Conservation from University of Toronto and a M.Sc. in Geography from University of Guelph.


Prior to joining Poisson Consulting in 2017, Seb worked as a freelance consultant conducting statistical analysis, GIS and data visualization for clients including Parks Canada, MFLRNO, and Gowgaia Institute.


Seb’s focus is on analysis and manipulation of spatial data within R. He also has experience developing interactive visualization and user interface web apps in R.


He is the (co)developer of several R packages, including haidawave and several Shiny apps to upload and validate data, e.g mica-exploit and horse-exploit.
